Level 4 Stylists

Lisa

Lisa Smith is the proud owner of Mint Hair Lounge and a seasoned hairstylist with 27 years of experience in the industry. As a Wella North American Design Team artist, she travels across the country to educate and inspire fellow stylists. Over the years, Lisa has also been a finalist and winner of several prestigious hair competitions, showcasing her talent and dedication to the craft. Deeply passionate about giving back to her community, she actively supports causes that are close to her heart.

Lisa thrives on the creativity that comes with styling, and she truly values the one-on-one connections she forms with each client, ensuring they always leave feeling their best.

Nicole

Nicole joined Team Mint in 2015, bringing over a decade of industry experience. She excels in cuts, colours, and highlights, with a special talent for men’s cutting. Known for her confidence and precision, Nicole ensures every client feels comfortable and leaves with a style that suits them perfectly. With a passion for her craft and a commitment to excellence, she continues to refine her skills and create personalized looks for each guest in her chair.

Stephanie

Technique, technique, technique! Stephanie thrives in technical cutting, creating clean, beautiful lines and haircuts that grow out effortlessly. She has taken many classes over the years to make sure she is always providing the best service possible. Her colour work has been featured in Salon Magazine, Behind the Chair, and several others. She is dedicated and passionate about her craft and this is shown consistently through her work.

Keira

Keira has been a dedicated colour technician at Mint Hair Lounge since 2016. Known for her expertise in complete colour transformations, blondes, balayage, and styling, she is passionate about achieving personalized, natural-looking results. Whether crafting seamless, sun-kissed highlights or tackling complex colour corrections, Keira’s attention to detail and commitment to staying current with industry trends ensure that every client leaves with a look perfectly suited to their style and lifestyle.

BLONDING SPECIALIST

Rachelle

After completing hair school, Rachelle furthered her education with advanced training at Suki’s Academy. She has since completed a comprehensive apprenticeship under Lisa, becoming a fully trained and confident stylist. Rachelle is skilled in all aspects of hairdressing, including colouring, balayage, and cutting. Whether you’re looking for a stunning blow-out or an elegant up-do for a special occasion, Rachelle is dedicated to delivering flawless results that leave you feeling your best.

Anika

Anika has been a key part of the Mint team since 2021, growing into a skilled stylist and mentor. She specializes in bold, creative cuts and natural, lived-in colours, with a strong expertise in curly and textured hair. Anika’s keen eye for shape and movement enhances each client’s natural beauty. Beyond the chair, she mentors and shares her knowledge with the team. Her artistry, expertise, and down-to-earth approach ensure you leave with the perfect look.

Vivian

Currently on maternity leave

Vivian has been transforming hair and building confidence since 2018. With Sassoon training under her belt, she’s all about creating sharp precision cuts (she’s obsessed with bobs!), bold colour work, and seamless extensions. Known for her warm and approachable vibe, Vivian loves getting to know her clients and making sure they leave feeling confident and refreshed. She’s always staying on top of trends and refining her skills to bring out the best in every look.

CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE

Devon

Devon is a creative and educated stylist with 10 years of experience in the industry. Her journey began as an Aveda student and continued through the L’oréal Professional world before finding her hair home at Mint. Inspired by her grandfather, a hairstylist with his own shop, Devon developed a passion for hair early on.

She’s exceptional in both creative and precision cutting, with lots of barbering knowledge as well. She loves lived in, natural colour – that “your hair but better” look! Devon is head of our editorial team at Mint and will be spearheading us into competition season this year!

She’s also a lover of music, so when you’re sitting in her chair she’d love to hear about the shows you’re seeing, the artists you love and who you’re currently listening to.

Dylan

Dylan Twigg is an award-winning hairstylist and barber with over 17 years of experience in both the salon and film industries. Originally from Toronto and now based in Vancouver, he is known for his precision cutting, expert barbering, and advanced colour work including balayage, babylights, and foiling. Dylan also offers hair extensions, treatments, customized styling, and specialized wig work.

Behind the chair, Dylan combines technical skill with a creative eye to deliver tailored looks that suit each client’s style and lifestyle. His years working in film have refined his attention to detail and ability to create everything from natural, modern styles to more intricate transformations.

In addition to his salon work, Dylan has led hair departments on numerous film and television productions across Canada. In 2024, he received the Canadian Screen Award for Achievement in Hair for BlackBerry.

Known for his warm personality and meticulous approach, Dylan is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience while helping every client look and feel their best.

Nikki

Nikki is a passionate hairstylist who began her journey in the beauty industry in 2016, and has consistently dedicated herself to further education. Nikki is professionally trained in three methods of hair extensions, providing solutions for anyone looking for extra length or volume. She also has a passion for creating natural yet elevated colours that enhance her clients’ features and personal style. Her goal is to ensure every guest leaves her chair feeling beautiful & empowered.

Well-rounded, talented and full of fresh energy, the mint Team is thrilled to see Ali grow and flourish as a Mint stylist.

Lorene

Lorene began her hairstyling journey in 2022 and has quickly developed a passion for helping clients express their individuality through cut, colour, and style. She is dedicated to creating looks that reflect each client’s personality while enhancing their natural beauty. With a warm and welcoming approach, Lorene strives to make every appointment a personalized and empowering experience. Assistant

Claire is the dynamic force that keeps the salon running like a well-oiled machine. From the moment you walk in, she’s there to greet you with warmth and energy, making every client feel instantly at ease. Whether she’s delivering a relaxing shampoo or giving you one of the best blowouts you’ve ever had, Claire brings skill and care to every step of the experience. Though she’s been with Mint for just six months, she’s quickly become an essential part of the team—reliable, versatile, and always ready to make your visit exceptional.

Mira

Reception

Mira assists with appointments both over the phone and in person. As one of the first and last faces you’ll see in the salon, she is dedicated to ensuring you feel comfortable throughout your visit. In addition to her reception duties, Mira is excited to relaunch our spray tan offering at our Port Moody location, providing you with an additional service to enhance your experience.

Kendrick

Salon Manager

He’s the guy that takes your calls, books your appointments, and runs our front desk with ease and professionalism. Kendrick works with clients to ensure they are booked in with the stylist most suited to their needs.
